Get the extreme 4. It has 8 sata ports and more pcie x1 slots instaed of legacy pci slots. Also, the Extreme 4 has sata ports looking to the side while the sata ports on the fatal1ty are looking up which is annoying for regular towers. They both have 8+4 phased vrms so they are equally good in overclocking.

You're going to be paying for the Fatal1ty branding more than anything, and do you really want any of your money going towards that guy? rolleyes.gif

The caps might be ever so slightly better on the Fatal1ty, but they're still both similar 8+4 power phase designs so the OCing difference will be negligible. The Extreme4 is cheaper, has one more PCIe x1 slot, more 6gb/s ports, and is tried and true with lots of support/info here on OCN. And again, none of the money would be going to that Wendel douchebag...

And if you're really wanting high OCs, heat is going to be much more of a limiting factor than the board... and if you get to the point where it is the board that's the limiting factor, you'd be wanting a 16+2 power phase board

One more vote for the AsRock Z77 Extreme4.I've been rocking this mobo for few months now and i can't be happier.A bit smaller than other boards so it's great if you don't have a huge case.It has all the required ports and it's all around awesome products for it's price.I got the asrock for 125$ and i think it was still worth it.Now at the price tag of 104$ is a no brainer.
