Help me complete my new build

Hi Gang,
So the time has come for me to upgrade my computer as its really starting to show its age now. Im from Australia and as far as I know the best place for parts is www.pccasegear.com so this is where I have started my shopping list but if any of you Aussies know any better please let me know.

Im hoping that my 520W SeaSonic M12II PSU will still be able to keep up with this new system. I am on a fairly light budget of $1100 give or take. Im also going to be using my HDD's as they already have everything on them and I don't really feel the need to change them as I will be running an SSD. I also have a copy of windows 7 so that's also not needed. Please tell me what you think and if I can get away using anything I have already of if I should buy something different.

I also thought I would use my old LG optical drive it works and really what else is it expected to do.

Thanks as always guys you are all a massive help!

GPU http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=21965

TOTAL $1123

Now I know for about another $100 I can buy a 7970 do you think I will really need it though? I'm also interested in going down the water cooling path but I don't know if I should try and build something my self (I have never done it before) or just buy something like the H80. Also I probably wont need to clock the living daylights out of it as my computer is pretty much on 24/7 so could I get away with a Corsair H60 or H70 (same price) or am I better off saving my money and just using my Hyper master 212+ CPU cooler and spend the money else where?

Thanks Gents!

Looking great thumb.gif It depends if you should buy a 7970. The 7950 is priced extremely competitive right now and it overclocks very well. If you're running 3 or more monitors then you should get a 7970, otherwise not.

As for the cooling it depends if you have enough money to build a loop yourself. It costs allot of money to build one yourself but they are usually way better in cooling. The corsair premaid loops are as good as high-end fans like the nzxt havik 140, phantek phantek ph-tc14pe or the Noctua NH-D14.

The 660TI is a waist of money. The 7950 beats it easily.

7950 or 7970 over 660ti, hands down. I also am a huge fan of the Cooler Master 212+ heat sink, it is inexpensive and very efficient, plus you can save a grip of cash and throw it at a GPU. I have it in my case and it is a champ, check the sig rig for specs. Everything else looks great.
