Advantages or Disadvantages switching to CM HafXB from a Corsair 800D

Hey everyone.

My current rig is in my sig but I will be adding a 2nd 670 to my machine.

Now I am thinking of getting one of these upcoming Haf XB cases so I can put the case on my desk for it to be more conveniant. What do you guys think about the possible advantages or disadvantages I might have.

I will be building an office Rig in the next few months, so I can use my 800D there.

HafXB looks adorable and more compact and can be put on my desk, that's why I am curious weather to upgrade or not.

Go ahead! This little case is badass and full of features. Honestly im not sure about the disadvantage you could face.
You can still tri sli
You can still build a custom watercooling loop

Its all about what you really need/want but i can only suggest it. Go for it! thumb.gif

Yeah I am seriously thinking of this cube but how am I going to place a H100 with 4 fans? This might be an issue?

H100 fits perfect up front. There's two 120's up front. One disadvantage could be the lack of that extra pci slot.

I like the case but there are some quirks.

I just checked and if I place 4 fans and 1 radiator (talking about H100 of course) I believe there is a chance that I can not fit the GPUs.

If I were home I'd check for you but I have 6950s which are fairly long and I think it'd fit. The 2 120s already there are mounted outside the case.

I can always use the H100 with 2 fans and I think it would still be good any how. Since I am not a heavy OCer.

I will still be happy if you can check it nevertheless.

Though It is good that I can still at least install the radiator there.

Oh last but not least, I want to use my own 120mm fans. They are replacable right? I hear that the stock fans are a bit loud?

It's a great case for gaming because it has high airflow but it has multiple levels as well so your PSU and hard drives wont interfere with anything. It will definitely have great airflow with 2 cards and it has great compatibility for full sized tech to fit in there. It can support cards up to 13.1 inches and if you have an H100 (which I am guessing is about an inch thick, maybe an inch and a half, plus another inch for another standard fan) with 4 fans you are looking at about a 3 to 3.3 inch reduction (as fans are a little less than an inch) so if the fans are mounted externally you have about 11 inches of room for cards. My point of all of this is that you can for sure fit it with two fans. I also saw the case and I think the two 120mm fans it has are on the outside behind a fan grill.
