I am looking for a good router for my home use.

I have a tp-link wr1043nd and it started acting up on me needing reset all the time so I went back to my Linksys wrt54gl and now after 2 months I am having to to reset it about once a week because something will not connect to it.

In my house there are 2 adults and 4 full time kids and once that comes home from collage a few times a year.
So between all of us we have
2 ps3
2 Xbox 360
4 desktop computer
2 laptops
1 roku
2 tablels
2 cell phones(for data use)
this is full time and when the collage kid comes home he has a laptop and a xbox 360 and half the time has a friend over with a laptop as well.

So I am looking for one that is going to hold up and be good for gaming and watching videos over. Right now it is a mix a wired and wireless.

As far as price. I would like to stay under $150 would like to be a lot under that but will pay more not to have to buy another one for a long time.

What comes to my mind is how many of those devices will be operating at the same time and which gigabit switch to use to keep up with the router. The price of this gigabit switch is going to cut into your router budget.I am a vdsl customer and I myself have a lot of devices so I "cut" the house in half, using 2 internet connections. With a 2 year contract on each they are between 20-40 per month depending on bandwith. My side of the house runs off a pfsense firewall/router with access point, the other off a provider approved vdsl modem/router.

If you got a large house with complex construction I recommend this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833281012

they're having a good sale on it too ;-)

I have it and it's got really good coverage and I can stream youtube vids from more then 120 ft away!
