Save the money, get the non-OC/Boost model and OC it yourself.

Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC with Boost 3 GB DDR5 this gets my vote, it uses a 7970 PCB design and a 8 + 6 Pin PCIe power connector. 8 phase, excellent cooling and should overclock very well. smile.gif

get the sapphire hd 7950 boost. the card comes with a higher stock voltage. so even at stock voltage it can overclock to 1.1 Ghz. as far as voltage control is concerned it seems to be a hit or miss thing in most of the cards . good luck thumb.gif

my head is all confused from 2 days of researching, i do appreciate you helping me out and other folks. I just wish we had some people who bought recently the 7950 sapphire and the vapor x to let us know if we are able to overclock them and up the voltage. But my mind is set between the two posted earlier, so i dont know what i am going to do atm.

I have the vapor x I leave it in its stock over clock state runs all my games. Havent pushed it cause I'm limited at my proccesser but having a 7970 at a 7950 sounds like a win to me. Anything specific you want to know.
