Recommend a 11-12" notebook

Thread Starter
I'd like to get an ultra portable laptop/net book to use mostly for general web browsing and watching movies. I will use it for work (Microsoft Office & 12awg quickbooks). I may do some light gaming. What processor/chipset should I look for? Both AMD & Intel have new ULV processors since I last looked for a laptop. My wife has an 11.6" Acer with a Celeron SU2300 & 4gb RAM that has treated her well for the last few years.

Requirements:
Small, thin & light
HDMI out
Full size or nearly full size keyboard
6 hours or better battery life
$500 or less $400 or less would be better

Lightweight and thin.
Good luck
EDIT: around 500$

Bestbuy has Asus Vivo book for 449, if you purchase it online through your own bank's reward program you can get maybe 2% or even more cash back on this one. It also includes 1 year Kaspersky anti virus though I dont think anyone needs it any more since win8 comes with its own anti virus defender.

Talking about the notebook, it is really good quiality given its price. The charging unit is really neat and light compared to the traditional 2-pond ones. The processor on that mode is i3-2365m which is the second gen sandy bridge. If you want the 3rd gen you can get it from Amazon by paying 50 more. The keyboard has a solid feel even though its feedback is not among the best. The trackpad is OK but I found that most of time I navigated by touching the screen which came out being surprisingly effective.

Software wise, if you want to spend some time learning win 8, you will find its a rewarding experience with a touch screen. IE 10 is really excellent. Pinch-to-zoom function from IE10 kills my interest of using chrome or other browers on an 11.3 notebook

I would prefer to shop at Newegg if possible.

Any options in the sub $400 range or is the Asus really that much better? I don't need touchscreen and Windows 8... Not saying I wouldn't like it, but this will really be used more for lounging/travel/watching movies or Web browsing in bed type of thing. I don't need lots of power.

Well I've done some reading and I definitely want a core i3 CPU or better... as long as that won't completely kill battery life. Also, looking at specs and cpu charts there seems to be a decent increase in performance going to the 3rd (current) gen core series cpus. I've found a couple.

Option 1:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215667
This fits the price range at $450. It has a sandy bridge core i3 CPU that I think will be acceptable for my needs. It has Windows 8, but I'm not sure if it has a touchscreen or not. Newegg doesn't mention this and if you go to the Acer website it lists touchscreen as a feature, but not on the dataseet.

Option 2:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215625&Tpk=Acer%20V5-171-6422
This is a bit over budget at $580, but it has an ivy bridge core i5 CPU and 6GB RAM. It has Windows 8, but like above I'm not sure about touchscreen.

Option 3:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230706
This is over budget at $600, but it has an ivy bridge core i3, touchscreen, Windows 8 and gets good reviews.

Can anyone tell me if one of these will have a longer battery life than the others? It looks like they are all rated up to 5 hours.

Well the vivobook x202 is on sale for $500 so I ordered one. My second choice was the Acer with core i5 cpu.
Thanks for the suggestions.
