Gaming Monitor Recommendation

Thread Starter
Hi everybody! Can anyone recommend me a monitor? I always play FPS and I want a 120hz with Dual-Link DVI , HDMI with my PS3. 23'-24' , screen size , don't really need 3D and 2ms-5ms response would be great. I have thought of the Asus VG236H as price is acceptable.
Thx for viewing and all monitors recommended will be greatly appreciated.

Samsung S23A950. I have one and BF3 looks beautiful and runs smoothly at 120Hz.

The Samsung S23A950 has the best image quality out of all 120Hz panels. The moderate input lag is unnoticeable in terms of real life performance.

Good for 120Hz but I was disappointed by the rather poor image quality.

Thx for your recommend , I might get this monitor if this is available in my country but if I get this monitor I might not be able to get a sound card.
Is there a very huge different between onboard sound card & external sound card? I am using the Asus Maximus V Extreme and thinking about getting the Creative SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion

Thanks for your recommendation too but actually I don't like the stand of the both monitor but I prefer the Samsung stand.

Why would the sound card matter? It's a monitor.

An external sound card would give higher quality sound than an onboard sound card.

Thx but I still prefer to go with what Koehler recommended. Can I ask if the Samsung S23A950D 23' is able to play 2D @ 120hz.
