Dedicated Physx card

Thread Starter
I recently upgraded to a Geforce GTX 660 from a GT 240 and I was wondering if the GT 240 would be powerful enough to run as a dedicated physx GPU.

No.
But really your GTX 660 is so powerful that it can handle PhysX just fine by itself.

the 240 would bottleneck the 660 a LOT.

BUT at the same time, don't expect to run Physx on High. My 670gtx overclocked can struggle on that

if you want it to run slower.... im not even sure a 240 has enough power to run physx actually, the 660 running it and graphics will still be much better.
