That's perhaps correct as the enthusiast's point of view at this point in time.
But last time numbers were released, Nvidia was maintaining it's 60% share of the discrete gpu market.
In all the months before 12.11 was released, Nvidia was selling it's cards for near release price. Meanwhile, AMD kept dropping their prices.
AMD is currently making a lot less money off a "superior" card. That's good for us as enthusiasts but bad for the company in general.
The next generation is going to interesting indeed. I don't think Nvidia will be able to get away with what they did this generation again.
