What is the optimal bitrate?

Thread Starter
i am recording gameplay videos using msi afterburner, 1080p, 30 fps, mjpg compression.

i am using windows movie maker to rip and convert the recorded videos.

if want to upload the videos to youtube, what should be the optimal bitrate? i tried the 24,000, it looks good but i think it's too much, should i lower it or something?

kb/s?

the orig video size from afterburner is is 41GB, when i use the 24000 kbps (FOR HIGH DEFINITION DISPLAY PRESET) in movie maker the video will be 1.8GB.

i tried sony vegas andpower director, too complicated for me, lol.

S - press the button for cut, right click properties all the other settings you need like disable resample(recording with msi afterburner myself,i notice a lot of resampling so this option is a must) ,maintain aspect ratio(if you're like me playing at 16:10 but uploading 16:9 in youtube so 1680x1050 to 1920x1080 or 1280x720)
It's easy.Once you learn the problem,it would be even easier than Windows movie maker IMO smile.gif
