Need a new pair of headphones for games

Thread Starter
My logitech G930s just died http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqfpTWJwDrU&feature=youtu.be and I'm lazy to tape it. So I am looking for something decent under 120-140$. I know that headphones with a mic is not good but I like it. Also, looking for something confortable.

I hear that the Steelseries 7H is good especially when paired with a sound card. I ordered one myself and am waiting for it to come in.

We don't usually recommend headsets, they lack in SQ that any regular stereo headphone can give.
Are they going to be used for games strictly?

I do agree headphones have better SQ but I just recently got a pair of Platronics Gamecom 780s and would recommend them to anyone. They have great sound quality plus the 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound is amazing for games. Shakes your eardrums during explosions but not to overpowered and you can tell where a enemy is just from the sound. Very Well made and have a 1 year warranty. They are USB only so you dont have to worry about getting a new Sound Card.
