How about the new EVGA power supplies. From what I can tell they have no double wires, and for someone like me whose GPU needs dual 8 pins, their PCI-E connectors are 8 Pin and 6 Pin. Now if only they had a 1000w (or around) model. And with a 10 year warranty and their customer service, don't know if it can get better than that.

I don't like the sticker on the side though, or the grab bar in the back... How hard would it be to remove them? Anyone know?

It would probably be pretty easy but would result in a breaking the warranty seal.

Did you make all new cables? What gauge wire did you use?

I have found that MDPC-X sleeving likes 16 gauge wire for that very tight fit, anything smaller than 18 gauge wire you have to pull hard to get the MDPC-X sleeving tight. This is not the fault of the MDPC-X sleeving, rather it works well with similar sufficiently larger OD wiring.

Yeah I would imagine it would be as simple as opening it up and unscrewing the handle from the inside. Be careful though. I don't know anything about power/electricity but I hold the PSU can hold a good charge.

It wouldn't get installed or plugged in before the handle came off....
It's gonna have to wait a bit though.. I got the g/f coming for a visit, and I can't be in the middle of a project, and be able to pay enough attention to both of them tongue.gif
