Random reboots

Hi all, I started this thread http://www.overclock.net/t/1255904/system-issue-w-non-overclocked-cpu back in May. Same system, but now I get random reboots, again, during Steam gaming. I will say I do set the games to highest resolution (19x12) w/ high textures, distance drawing, etc, but I try to avoid the heavy settings (PhysX, motion/background blur, flaring, etc). I have not OCed the GPU. I turned off the Auto Restart System Failure option to see if its Blue screening again, but no, it reboots like hitting the reset switch.

I tested the memory with Windows Mem Test. No errors. I will try with Memtest86 in the next day or so (work). Which is better to use for stress testing, Prime95 or intel burn test? I know, I should have done all that the last time I posted but I didn't understand alot of that stuff at the time.

I still am not doing a manual OC (need someone to sit down with me and explain it in simpleish for my MB) and am letting the BIOS handle it. That seemed to work for a while. I've tried to turning off any power saving options in the BIOS as I understand that can hamper any type of OCing. The only other thing I can think of is my power supply. I used a PSU calculator and it says my system w/o OCing uses 475 watts. With 40% OCing, 525. My supply is 700 watts. I've read that having to big of a supply can lead to problems as well, true? If so, should I just buy a 550 or maybe 600?

Really getting tired of the crap and hopefully its a simple (and/or cheap) fix.

Thnx for any help all.

Unless there is dust trapped deep in the fins, no.

Ok, explain this. I just ran Prime 95 for 12 hours. No errors that I can see. But it didn't end after the 12 hours I set it for, so I stopped it manually. I looked through all 6 status lines for the cores and no errors during the stress test (blended). While at work a co-worker said to get Coretemp and play games in window mode while watching the program. I did that and within 15 minutes of playing Borderlands 2, it rebooted again. No warning and the load never went critical. The load between the cores did go bounced around between 40-70%, and 2 cores at 0%. I'm at a total loss now.

Please... anyone... HELP!
