Asus sabertooth z77 problems

Sabertooth z77
i7 3770
Gigabyte GTX 560 ti (950hz version downclocked)
8g ram
Seasonic X-Series 660W 80Plus Gold
128 samsung 830

I have updated drivers for EVERYTHING a month ago.

I have two problems with my (assuming) Asus sabertooth z77 motherboard. The first one is the top rear USB 2.0 ports don't work when I boot sometimes. Either no power is going to my peripherals or the power isn't enough(can tell by my keyboards lights either not on or flashing). Couldn't find anything on The Internet for this problem, just people complaining their USB 3 isn't working(because they hadn't installed drivers for it...)

My other problem is my system not turning off when I shut down, the operating system shuts down but the system is still running(fans and LED's still on). There is plenty of stuff on the net for this problem but I haven't reset the bios, is this my only choice?

Hey there buddy. Sorry you are experiencing problems.

First things first. Which bios version are you at? Are you in the latest one? Give it a try

Second, go to the below link

It is the Asus Sabertooth z77 owner's club. There are very nice fellows there who help people with their problem and more knowledgeable than me. Give it a shot as well.

Thanks, I thought I had the latest bios but it seems I don't since I flashed it a couple of months ago, Ill try that first(once I can find a usb stick).

Guess Ill try the owners thread as well.
