NEW from BCC - TVera Monitor - Page 9

Having gotten cold feet about the off-off-brand korean displays through the course of this nonsense with BCC, after demanding a refund from BCC I sucked it up and ordered a perfect pixel catleap from dream-seller for $400. I had a fedex tracking number in hand before BCC processed my refund (which is the only thing he did quickly throughout this whole process, maybe because I demanded the refund by opening a ticket with ebay's resolution center calling BCC out on policy violations).

Good luck to whoever ends up with a TVera or Qnix display from this guy. Anyone who leaves him positive feedback after this mess is nuts; he deserves to be eviscerated for the whole displays-were-never-in-stock-to-begin-with angle alone, nevermind that he apparently just wanted to relist them at a higher price, nevermind if the Qnix displays he switched turn out to be ****ty. The new price is close enough to what you can pay for a perfect catleap/crossover that going with a mystery brand is no longer worth the risk, imo.

Its bad that he sells stuff not in stock but his service has proven reliable.
No need to bash BCC...this day.

the problem isnt only that he sells monotors which he doesnt have, but also sells non perfect pixel products for perfect ones, without checking them (20 dead pixels from dakisback)...

Thats not good. How did that end? Seller should pay return postage.

It has about 20 dead pixels. This is the perfect pixel version too. Pretty upset about that.

No backlight bleed whatsoever and the stand is nice and stable. Hope I can get one with no dead pixels after he responds to my message.

About an inch shorter than the Yamakasi Catleap

This is what I was alluding to...

Really sorry to hear that - have you tried 'massaging' the pixels?

I once had a defective pixel on my then-new DELL monitor - I was upset, but learnt that I could try massaging it...

I simply poked at it with my finger, made a small circle motion, & problem solved - never had the issue again!

SERIOUSLY

I would if it didn't have so many. I've tried that method on other S-IPS panels and never had any luck. So I'm really not sure if massaging works on these type of displays.
