Microphone Volume Knob

Thread Starter
I am having a system building problem. I'd like an external microphone volume control and mute button. I hate having to alt-tab to skype to hit mute and it would be much easier to be able to control my volume and mute without having to switch programs. I know some microphones like the Yeti have a built in volume knob, I'm hoping for something a little less ugly? Either a traditional looking microphone or a system that would support the ModMic.

Any input or experience would be great.

Good suggestion. I worry that this will either suffer from the lag that my older Sidewinder X6 suffered, or not function at all in certain games.
