So, all I'm saying is that I don't want anyone thinking that they're going to have full NKRO if they just use a PS/2 connection since it doesn't work like that.  The only way full NKRO can be had over PS/2 is if the keyboard is designed for it and that it is specifically listed as one of its features.  If a mechanical keyboard's list of features does not specify full NKRO, then don't expect full NKRO over a PS/2 connection.  That's really all I'm saying.

Allright, thanks for the clarification! smile.gif

Also, i'd advise that you buy a «real» mechanical keyboard (such as a ducky, deck, filco, leopold, etc) instead of a «gaming» mechanical keyboard, mostly because non gaming board often have a much better build quality, and also often feature nicer keycaps.
Luckily the non-mechanical keys arn't too important.
I would like to buy a real kb, but its hard to find a ducky or any others with red switches with the features that i want.

I wanted a whole load of features when I was looking for a mechanical keyboard.  This is what I ended up with, and I'm extremely happy with it:

I wanted LED lights, media keys, and a built-in USB port.  This doesn't have any features at all.  So, it has no LEDs, it has no media keys, and it has no built-in USB port.  :)

Naturally, I can't do anything about the LEDs, but I did something about not having media keys or a USB port.  For the media keys, I used a little program called SharpKeys.  It makes changes to the Registry for you so that you don't have to.  Right now, my Plus and Minus keys on my keypad control my volume, and the Del key on the keypad is Mute.  I used to have a more elaborate media key setup on the keypad, but that was in my last installation of Windows.  I haven't needed anything other than volume keys so far, so that's what I have set up.

For the USB port, I bought a nice 6-foot USB extension cable from MonoPrice.com that is plugged into my motherboard and the end of it is attached to the underneath side of my desk right where I want it.

So, I have everything I wanted except for the LED bling (which I didn't need anyway).  :)

My bad, looks like NCIX dont sell filcos on the states.

And yes, the layout on the 6GV2 is weird. You could alway have a look at this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129006
Note that they removed the branding in recent batches.

I think im going to go with the white flico. Reall wish it wasnt the ninja but.. whatever. I would go with a ducky but everything im reading is that the flico's are the most sturdy. Im hoping to get at least 5 years out of this board.

anyone know where i can look up warranty stuff?
