Intel i5-3570k -ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 overclocking help for a beginner

Hello everyone I want to overclock my cpu by a bit,but im a totally beginner so I would need a step by step gudie to do this.Can you aslo tell me what programs I need to used(I have already Asus AI suite 2) and for what I need to look out.The cooler is box and and I would like to use the PC for 24/7 with the overclock.
Full PC spec:
CPU:Intel i5-3570k
GPU:ASUS GTX-670-DC2-2GD5
MBO:ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77
RAM:Kingston HYPER-X 16gb DDR3 1600mhz Genesis
HDD:WD Caviar Black 1,5 TB
CASE:Cooler Master 912 Plus
PSU:Cooler Master GX 750 W
Remember im a totally beginner.

You are using the stock cooler right? just making sure is all.

Yes the cooler is stock(which I got with the cpu).

Your looking at about 4.2ghz at best with the stock cooler.

You can Snag this and u could hit 4.5 - 4.6ghz.

Programs u need to Monitor / test your OC

Core temp.. to monitor Temp http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp

Cpu.z Monitor Voltages and your overclock http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Prime95 / IBT to see if you are stable or not and to test your max temps

Install the programs Above see what your running now at stock temps wise.

You gotta be careful with these stock cooler. they really aren't ment to do crazy heat transfer, like that evo 212 from newegg. rtell us you hottest temps and lowest temps. Use Realtemp for us with you? and run that program Hokies linked and then report back in.
