Does anyone know if the 2730MD CrossOver LED HDMI 1.4a 2560x1440 WQHD S-IPS Monitor is able to be overclocked to 125Hz?
I heard from a Respected Korean Ebay seller, that the manufacturer says that it is, depending on what video card you are using.

Any reliable info on this, would be very welcome.

Thanks. thumb.gif

From what I've read some of the original Crossover were able to do a little overclock but I doubt there's a monitor that can run 2560x1440 at 125hz otherwise it wouldn't be restricted mainly in Korea.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I'm waiting on an email from this seller with some more details...Hopefully? If/when I get some more specifics, I'll post them here.

What do you mean by, restricted mainly in Korea?

I'm 100% sure the seller has no clue whether this can actually be overclocked or not. You need to talk to owners who can do tests.

It is the model that skips. There are a few threads on it if you take the moment to search for it.

Yes it can be overclocked to 125Hz.

Great monitor in terms of image quality and color accuracy. I highly recommend the CrossOver 27" S-IPS series.

Do you mind telling me how you know it's overclockable? Course the only other user here Wildfire say he managed to overclock to 80hz but failed to say whether he was able to see all the white strips in the refresh rate test and the one in hardforum says he was unable to do so but then again he got a faulty monitor.
