The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago when buy.com had the Samsung 830 128GB for $70. They oversold the thing, I wasn't even offered a substitute at full price. It was basically, "Sorry, we screwed up. Sucks, but there's nothing we can do to help you." *Click* I did manage to get one for $80 from J&R last week, but i probably won't be buying from buy.com anytime soon

I ordered the Kingston 3K Hyper X for 99.09 because I didnt feel like waiting for sales. Whatya know, it goes on sale to 60.00. I attempted to cancel but it was too late. Contacted Newegg and they could not honor the price drop. Was pissed. Just a heads up for anyone. I also ordered BH670S Lg Home Theater system off newegg for 300.00. I found the exact same one on the website that was hosting the promotion or 229.00. I purchased the 2nd one and cancelled my first one. I won't be ordering much from Newegg because of this reason.

Overall, the SSD is amazing. Literally 6 second boot times from Windows Logo, skipping the log on screen due to no password. The comp is much smoother. I'm going to try run Guild Wars 2 on this SSD. Then I'll run all my other huge programs on my HDD. I recommend a fresh install of windows 7 if your installing this SSD.

I'm glad you resolved things. I've shopped with TirectDirect now for about 3 years. Granted I've run in a couple of problems, they're stellar customer service has always revolved the problems. I picked up a killer deal on a $99 OCZ Agility 4 256GB SSD on Black Friday. They really do have sweet deals and service. Glad everything worked out!
