Hey guys!

I thought i make a post on the motherboard section sinds i want to see if i can optimize anything OC related biggrin.gif

Im currently running a safe 3.4Ghz clock with no voltage increase, and working on pushing 3,9ghz
Also my motherboard is labeled as *recommend* in the topic about Phase 4+1 8+2 stuff.

Dont know much about it , but the topic shows my board as recommend for overclocking, even tho it is a 4+1 phase board redface.gif

But i would like to know if a upgrade on the Ram could improve things for my overclocking thumb.gif
Or would it just be a waist for money for minor increase on performance??

I am just looking for some improvements on the overclocking.
Maybe a fan for the Mobo heatsinks? Not sure , but i like cooling i have spend time in that.
My Cpu stays at 30*C when im reaching 3.9Ghz and 1.46Vcore tongue.gif

On the last subject, id like to know if this board can handle my CPu Unlocked as x6 , and i would be able to overclock it Safely??

Here to make it easy for you guys smile.gif

A RAM upgrade from generic DDR3 could improve your bus clock flexibility, though the 960T's unlocked multi should compensate.

Compensate for the lack of bus clock?
I tend to look more at the speed, this one i have is 1333mhz, kinda stock sinds i took that as most default Pc's have that speed and its fine for gaming smile.gif Right?

I see faster Rams for various brands 1600mhz 1800mhz even 2000mhz and up!
What exactly does this speed do on general computing?

Use the CPU multipiler to oc that 960T. I know that mobo can easily handle that 960T all the way to it's max. I have a 8320 with 1 core disable per module in a AsRock 970 Extreme 3 running at 4.7ghz 1.488v. That mobo is basically the same but with different chipset.

I have been using the FBS to overclock mostly.
I wil try to decrease the FBS while increasing the Multiplier, see if this has any effect on stablebility!

Last weekend i was trying to get it stable at 3,9Ghz
Lets see if i can improve anything.
