I've had my white xbox going on six years now. The damn thing just wont die, kind of crazy that I don't even dust the thing. Mine has been a little tank from the get-go.

People are idiots, they can not rap their head around a PC because their brain power is the equivilent to that of a infant when it comes a to a cpu. The problem is not the product, it is the consumer. People who buy ps3's are alot smarter. Xbox360, not so much, spend a subscrition fee every year for 60$ plus games and what not. You could buy a decent pc for 500$ if you looked for good deals and were not an idiot and bought from streamline retailers.

Why spend $250 on something that works from day 1 when I can waste my time lurking the internet all day looking for 'good deals' to pay x2 the price for a thing that can't max anything. Your logic baffles me :/

And yes, most ppl are electronics CONSUMERS, not electronics hobbyists, enthusiasts, builders, etc.

Paying $60 for a more premium services is dumb? People spend more money a year on netflix. If you use xbox live it is extremely worth it. Sorry to break your bubble but the 360 does have a stronger GPU and better memory management while the PS3 has a faster CPU thats has a vary nice floating point advantage when the SPE's are fully programmed for. Kinda why most multiplatform games not only run better on the 360 but also look better. Some games just feel more choppy and experience more frame drops on the ps3. So really All those dumb 360 users that have had the most consistent performance with the least amount of problems and tends to have the best looking games must really hated their purchase. Uncharted on the ps3 looks good but its mostly good textures and lacks AA, still is my fav PS3 series though. 360 users also gets the newest dashboard and has more media features then the PS3 could ever dream for. Cinavia killed the media aspect of the ps3, its only good as blu-ray player these days. I know a bunch of people that Watch ESPN on their 360 all the time. So all those people that actually use their 360 are dumb as you say? really your dumb for saying it. Not everyone wants a gaming PC, most people would have trouble fixing it if something went wrong.

360 is by far the most mature console of this generation.

It's a solid console but please don't say "this generation", it makes it sound recent tongue.gif
I know technically it's still "current gen" because consoles have been wallowing in the mud for 7 years, but it still gives technology a bad name because a goddamn PHONE is almost as powerful as a 360/PS3 now.

You could say it's the Windows XP of technology. Ancient and full of limitations...but still somewhat sturdy and refuses to die.

I'm on #3, a Jasper. Been solid for 3 or 4 years now. First 2 were old school Xenon RROD bait.

I considered changing over to a slim if I could find one for a hundred bucks out the door... but honestly the only reasoning I have is noise level, and the Jasper isn't that bad (first one I bought was a used launch Core/Xenon system that sounded like a harrier jet).

BUT I have been back into PC in a big way the last year or 2.... if #3 bought the farm tomorrow I don't know if I would run out and buy a new one.... actually I just got Xcom for 360 on BF so yeah I probably would biggrin.gif
