A friend of mine asked me to get him a good bang for the buck pc, i put this up(i've done another thread about this , but his budget went 100€ up).
E6300: 183€ 1.83ghz 2mb cache
Asus P5B: 159.99€ non-sli(i'm wondering if i should choose another mobo, sli capable)
My current ram, Kingston 667mhz CL5:115€(i'm selling him to upgrade)
Xpert Vision 7300GT GDDR3:94.50€
LC PowerSilent 550W:37.50€
His current 80G HD(IDE)

I have afew Q's:
What should be changed, 600€ max budget.
Would i be capable of building his rig, and win some bucks?(would be my 1st time, and i would practice with my old rig)
Thanks...

I'd upgrade that graphic card to something a little more high end. 7900GT maybe? I'd also get him a new SATA II hard drive. However, that might go slightly over his budget.

If he's an average user he will probably never plan to SLI.

His budget is 600€ tops, and i choose that 7300Gt just to not choose a 6200, because DX10 is right at the next corner.....
The sata HD , would also go 50€ over his budget wich is very tight, any recomendations about the hardware?
If we can downgrade some parts the sata 2 drive will fit in , what should we downgrade?

Just added everything up and he doesn't have very much money left over at all. Instead of downgrading anything he could just add the sata hd later.

Yup, i'm still wondering if i should choose a SLI capable mobo, and if i would be capable of building his rig?

that mobo is capable of SLI with a modded bios. Whats the budget is USD? So we can get a better understanding of it.

I don't think it would.

Is this the best mobo to go?Till 160€?
The P5NSLI is SLI capable , why is the P5B not , but more expensive?
