3770k OC'd to 4.3 giving really bad passmark/Wprime scores

Any help would be appreciated.

On Wprime, I'm scoring 28.158 on the 32 test

Passmark scores are generally low:
CPU Mark: 9695
CPU integer math: 19354
Floating point math: 8942
Prime Numbers: 24.4
CPU instructions (SSE) : 52.5
CPU Compression: 15200
CPU encryption: 2119
Physics: 408.8
CPU sorting: 8702
CPU single threaded: 2318

The benchmarks that seem especially slow are the physics and prime numbers. I've run prime95 for 12 hours with temps never exceeding 64.
I don't have the numbers available, but if I run the tests without any changes to settings, my scores are still low. Any ideaes?

Build includes:
3770k
Coolermaster evo hyper 212
1600 mhz RAM
Seagate HDD
gtx 670
Biostar tz77Xe3
Seasonic 620 PS

Overclock was achieved through the following Bios changes:

Multiplier changed to 43
Voltage set to 1.25
C3 disabled
C6 disabled
XMP profile 1 set for RAM

Do you have the most up to date BIOS + Chipset drivers + Windows updates? Are you still using Windows XP 64 (What service pack)?

RAM timings are 10-10-10-27

Running windows 7 64 bit.

I have the latest drivers, but haven't updated my bios yet. I guess I'll give that a try (I'm a little wary of Bios flashes: when I flashed my gigabyte board in my i5 build it really funked with my bios screen.)

On Wprime, did you check to see that all 8 threads are enabled?

Go to 'Advanced Settings' at the bottom left, and change the `Thread Count' to 8.

You seem good there, just make sure you have Service Pack 1. My speeds were majorly throttled automatically (as well as really low temps) when I didn't have it.

Your timings seem to be a little high, you should try for 9-9-9-24 even though you've got 16gb

that made me feel stupid.

ok, I'm in normal range on Wprime now, but I'm still really low on passmark. (Updated to latest Bios).

Going to try updating windows as per twixa's instructions

smile.gif It happened to me before.

Just to be sure: you have HT on, right? Also, your memory speed could be holding your scores back.

I just ran Passmark on my 3770K@4.5GHz and comparing my scores with yours, it looks like either of the above (HT and/or mem speed) could be the issue.
