ok i popped in war of the worlds, went to audio and tried all of the 5.1 surround sound settings, DTS and dolby. all i got was a faint buzzing from the rear satellite speakers.

edit: I went to my MSI sound manager and put it on 4CH speaker and now i get sound out of the back 2 speakers but not the front ones.

$100 X-Fi? You got to be ****ting me, Bluegears B-Enspirer no doubt. The $100 X-Fi is just as good as any $50 Audigy but the Bluegears is $110 and competes with the X-Fi Fatal1ty. It sounds amazing, is 7.1, 6.1, 5.1, and 2.1 and supports everything from Doby Digital to DTS to C-Media. It also has optical in and out. Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829127002
