[Build Log] "Omega Red" Lian Li PC-50R

Thread Starter
Thought I would post a few pics of my first WC build.
oh and first OCN post ever smile.gif

A Lian Li PC-50R with a custom Loop

In the pics below you have a
Swiftech Maelstrom 5.25in Dual Bay Res w/ Single MCP35X
Front mounted ALPHACOOL NEXXXOS UT60 FULL COPPER 280mm
Top mounted PHOBYA G-CHANGER 280 RADIATOR
Rear mounted ALPHACOOL NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 140mm
All with BitFenix Spectre Pro 140mm Black Tinted Red LED Fans in Push Pull

I have made a custom top panel spacer so that the standard case top panel can be used and the top rad remains hidden away.
All it needs is some prep and paint.

Build is going to be centred around a ASUS Sabertooth Z77 MB and a i7 3770k
De-lidding the 3770k is definitely gonna happen devil.gif

Red Bitspower fittings will be used throughout with a Koolance CPU-380I for the CPU and Heatkiller GPU-X³s cooling Gigabyte 7950s in x-fire.
Have some MAYHEMS X1 OIL BLACK ready to flow through Durelene 1/4in ID 3/8in tubing.

Have a few mods planned and will keep the post updated as I put it all together.

All thoughts and comments are welcome

Top spacer fitted to case, and modded for standard plastic clips.
Going to prep and paint tomorrow.
Spacer is riveted to the case top and standard top clips into spacer for easy removal.

Thanks smile.gif
It was the only way I could fit a 60mm rad with push pull fans

Considering fitting a fan/pump controller to the front fascia of the spacer.
Only thing is the Bitfenix fans run so quiet even at full speed I am having trouble justifying a controller.
The pump is going to be pwm controlled so it also wont benefit much from one either.

Any suggestions as to what I could fit there?

Build is on indefinite hold as my precious Rotty x Lab "Roxxy" has cancer and needs surgery and medical care.
