I'm thinking 2 smaller fans for this setup would work and maintain astetic appeal. A 70 or 80 mm over the top VRM and a 2nd one over the left. You could possibly attach the top one to the rad screw holes. The right sized fan may wedge/sit in your left top cpu block screw. You could secure the second fans top right screw hole to this fans bottom left hole. The hoses would prevent it from moving if the 2nd fan is under them.
Let's do a quick paint example:
I got a little lazy, but the red line is a twist ties or something more appealing. I like twist ties because the can be removed quickly to clean.
The fan would be under the tubes of course, and the left fan actually could be attached to the rear exhaust fans hole.

Can you provide some TIM examples that meet those suggestions? I've used AS5 and MX-4 and those seemed to be worse than the pads, but I didn't have a temp reading on them, just felt hotter to the touch.
