I think all the development is going into the mobile site version as opposed to apps.

You'll notice I said a good browser based setup and TBH both eBay apps and mobile site are crap.

Also it is time better spent developing and maintaining a site than can be accessed by any browser on any platform that supports HTML5 (not all the features may work on all browsers on all platforms) rather developing and maintaining separate apps for IOS, Android, Windows, Symbian etc.
