p6t vanilla xeon

I have a x58 p6t that i got for really cheap that has bent pins. Now i was wondering if i can use a xeon lc3528 dualcore in it to test it or whats the cheapest cpu i can pick up to test the board. I dont wanna take a chance i burn a 120 dollar cpu....

Im afraid it wont fly mate. Oficially LC3528 only works on 3420 chipset boards (servers). I just burned 40 bucks in getting one for the same reason as you. So my best advise is to take advantage of Christmas, now that 920´s are cheap. Take the chance and try yours, youl be burning $95 only.
