How long would a 560 Ti last?

Thread Starter
I am currently trying to find the best parts to build a gaming pc at a somewhat low price and I was wondering how long a single MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit SLI-ready card would last, (including if I overclock it) running games at ultra and how long at medium?

Don't aim at a 560 Ti right now.

http://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php?firstonly=1&q=7850 can be had for $150 which I'm presuming is the same price as your 560 Ti.

Answering your question however running ultra at what resolution???

1080P: Ultra? Can't run witcher 2 on ultra. Can't run BF3 on ultra. Already. Ultra on what games?
I'd say you'd be running on high or very high for ~6months, medium for ~1 year.

A 7850 however? Much better value.

GTX 560 Ti is not a good choice when you have better options. at similar price you can get a factory overclocked HD 7850. HD 7850 at 1 Ghz matches GTX 570 and at 1.2 Ghz is faster than GTX 580.
