Edit: before I get flamed, yes just about everyone these days is a "play-pusher" but most other people have some sort of crowd control, visuals, or some other thing going for them. Even at least pretend to do ***** by messing around with the knobs. On three different occasions i've seen him, he just stands around and smokes up a whole pack, occasionally talking to people behind the stage and each one I ended up just talking with some chill people far away from the stage. EDM is a fad and a show, but at least have some god damned stage presence, i've seen garage bands with more stage personality. Thats why I love the people who open for the big names, they at least have more to prove, and often put on a better show, even if they are not center stage.
Okay, I get you because for the longest time I hated Skrill.
Then I went raving and actually experienced what his music is all about and believe me it's goddamn beautiful.
His shows are not so much about the show but the people you are around. It is probably a fad, but similar to 80s Disco it's my generations music. Enjoy it, PLUR
