Anyway, users over at the evga forum at saying that cpu temp readouts on the latest bios version is incorrect, so i'm going to finish installing windows and see what realtemp / cpu-z has to say about it before i do anything else.
I'll keep you guys updated!

45-50 do sound high, but yes get windows installed, and make sure your fans are pushing air over the radiator fins and not pulling air through them. (Push gets better temps compared to pull). Once windows is installed, get a good tool to check your temps and make sure you update your bios (if there is an update).

Good luck buddy.

Edit:
Adding this in case anyone wants to talk about push vs pull...

Taken from martinsliquidlab - "Push Vs Pull - This depends on fan speed/power. The high speed fans at 2000RPM with a 38mm fan thickness provided the best performance in a push condition. The slow speed fans with 1350RPM with a 25mm fan thickness provided the best performance in a pull condition. I would estimate that performance line is likely to cross in the 1500-1700RPM range where they are equal. So.... slow speed = pull, high speed = push, medium speed = it doesn't really matter."

With that logic, shouldnt matter with the stock fans then. They are high speed, 2k+ rpms but 25mm thick fans.
Edit: But I like that idea. Currently my fans are in PULL on my H100. Might try out Push to see if there is a difference.

OP: What are your ambient temps? Helps with determining the delta of actual temps. But, if you have confirmed that the BIOS is/can be incorrect. Then as others have stated, get in Win7 installed then check temps.

well heres the promised update:

I'M SO STUPID!!! lol

i forgot to put the h100 it self on max, where you have to tap 2 times on the block so its on the highest possible setting.

Anyways, the temp on the board says 30-32 on idle now and realtemp shows 22 for all cores

seems pretty good and normal right?
