upgrade from xspc rasa rs 360 kit

right guys, santa is coming and i've yet to buy myself a crimbo prezzie biggrin.gif

i bought the kit when i had my 1100T it worked great with that, but 6 months ago i upgraded to a 3930k. i prepared for the upgrade by buying a xspc raystorm block and buying 3 extra fans for a push/pull setup (bit fenix 1600rpm ones).

i can get 5.0 ghz stable with this setup but its a bit toasty for my liking, so backed it down to 4.7 for 24/7 use. i got £200 to spend, what can i upgrade on this setup to give me the best performance ? i wouldn't mind spending out again in 6 months time but £200-£220 is my limit for now smile.gif

couple of things you should be aware of is that i live in the UK, and i own an antec skeleton case.

a 360 rad is my limit in length, but depth is not a problem. ( mounted on the side of the case). the pump and res will have to be built together like the one i have now. (dual 5.25" res with pump built in)

i will be looking to put my 7970's under water at some point to so maybe a twin pump, double res may be better to buy now minus the second pump ?

i think thats about it for requirements, thanks for the replies in advance! smile.gif

Going to a thicker rad will give you some improvement. With just your CPU on water right now though, I don't know if it is worth it. You may be on the right track with what you are thinking of buying.

If you get one strong d5 and maybe another res for those extra blocks and heat you should be fine.
