EA makes crappy games. Now those... those are the modern AAA titles.

Clearly this guy did not play Company of Hero's if he did he'd think it was awesome that I got all these great games for only $5!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!

I think you missed his point. He's complimenting THQ for making quality games, not lesser quality money grabs like he's implying EA does. Games don't sell well, the hype machine does.

It's hilarious that people scream about always-on DRM all the time but when it's an issue for Steam it's totally ok and nobody should complain.

I'm truly perplexed that you people have nothing better to do with your lives than rant on and on about how terrible it is that someone is offering a bunch of really good games, which already exist, on the same platform on which they already exist, at a massive discount, with the option of picking your price and where that money goes (including the option to send it entirely to charity, in which case the games themselves become essentially free gifts).

No one is really making a direct profit here. No one is selling new games or adding new restrictions or creating new DRMs.

This is the same Humble Bundle that you've had before, only this time you get games that the mainstream (guess what, the vast majority of gamers couldn't care less for a discount on a handful of low budget indy games that run on linux and which look and play similarly if not worse than what can be found free on newgrounds.com) are actually interested in.

If you don't happen to like these games in their current states (which is identical to their state before the bundle) or already own them, have no desire to support any of the involved organizations, and don't know a single soul who would love a bunch of great games for a xmas present (you can't even pretend that you can't afford it at 1 freaking dollar), then sure, pass it up and move on with your day, go crawl back under your rock or bridge, or wherever it is you trolls like to hang out these days. No one is forcing you to buy anything.

For everyone else, this is an amazing deal. It will make a lot of people happy. It will get good games out to people who could never afford / never heard of them. It will support a publisher that funds some pretty great projects and really needs a hand right now, and it will make a lot more money than any previous bundle has for the two charity's involved.

Kind of sad that the average stayed at $5.6.

Other bundles normally reach above $7 by this time.
