DO NOT GO WITH XFX, pay the extra and get a quality card, that XFX cooler is junk. Its loud and doesnt keep things very cool. Pretty much any other brand (except diamond and powercolor) are better. You will regret getting an XFX as I know many people lately have been.

I have a 500GB HDD from my old PC (2010) but I'm worried about the integrity of it. To be safe the sorry I will get a 500GB HDD and also put in my old one, as for the laptop - there is no way I can just rip the hard drive out, its sealed like a mac.

Here is my build now http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/parts/partlist/ including a Asus 7950 and the monitor all together this build comes in at around £900 (£144 for the monitor) so the actual rig is a bit over budget, but I probably can squeeze out some extra cash from some where smile.gif

i know what the feeling is like to want to build and it's what im doing but there's extra cost in doing so ive spent 800 quid and i dont have a gpu or descent cpu cooler . but just think higher spec with less work to do or full build with a lower spec. And in my honest opinion you get more fun from modding it than you will building it. as shown by the list of stuff i want to do in my build log. http://www.overclock.net/t/1330008/project-arctic-storm/0_100
