Will these components work for gaming?

Hello! I was wondering if an Athlon ii x4 640 and Radeon 7750 will be good at playing games in 1600x900 resolution. I am not looking to max all games, just want to play in decent settings in games like BF3, ARMA II and Hitman Absolution. I've seen videos with this setup, but I am not entirely convinced. 40fps and above will suit me. I'm not really taking suggestions on different hardware because I am restricted to 95w cpu's and 250 watt gpu's. Thanks smile.gif

Yeah you can game, only because you use a low resolution. I actually have that same CPU and then a GTS 450 (The 7750 is a bit better) on my brothers computer. The resolution is 1600x900. If I'm not mistaken, BF3 gets about 50-60fps. ARMA II might be different, because it's CPU based, so you're taking a chance with that one. It should be fine, though.

Have fun.

It should do good. With my athlon ii x3 440 as well as a radeon HD 5450 I can play all the games at 1920x1080 although settings are not at maximum.

I have that same processor, although its overclocked it should be fine because i can play most games maxed depending on whether or not they are cpu heavy. But then again i do have a more powerful gpu than you as well.

Thanks! Pretty stoked for it! Been gaming with a dual core for a long time!
