The xbox has been the most profitable platform this generation.
I personally use my ps3 for exclusives, and of all of them only uncharted and god of war really are the two I like. While I do like my ps3, Cinavia killed its media streaming usage, and the fact nothing has been done to modernize the UI or even add/update features with better integrated solutions kills its use for me. Also PSN lacks some of the party features thats been on xbox for ever. Most ports run like crap on the console so really ps3 users have been getting the second worst console experience this generation, not saying bad just not up to MS standards. Though expecting sony to prevail on the software side when the company is having trouble keeping the company relevant is asking to much. If the PS4 sells anything like the vita then it may be sonys last console. Happy that they are still selling consoles though, I hate the redesign the sliding door makes the console look cheap. I'm actually surprised that the ps3 sold so well this black Friday, considering that most people in america where BF takes place is a largely xbox dominant community. Also good to sell the wii U sell well, along with the 3DS. I have always been a big Nintendo fan as a kid, I would be OK with MS and Nintendo as the top dogs during the next generation again.
Wii sold well but 3rd party game sales arnt that great and they don't get much in online store revenue.
