Need to a good mATX board for this build...

Putting together a dedicated Emulation box to be able to play games up to and including Gamecube (possibly Wii but probably not). Specs are below:

CPU - 2700K - $200
RAM - 8GB DDR3 - $50
GPU - 7770 or GTX 560Ti - $140-$150

Looking to keep the total around $500. I already have the HDD so I basically am looking for a good mATX board that is on the cheap. Suggestions?

check out the ASUS P8Z77-M PRO for $140.

Was hoping for something cheaper since I'm not going to be OCing.

Then why buy 2700K? Get 2600 or 3770. It's cheap.

Get any H77 board that has nice specs.

2700K CPU for $200?? Where are you getting your prices from??

And have you done your own math yet? You are at $400, that means you have around $100 to spend on a mobo.

Microcenter. And yes I know how to do math but still need to pickup a case and psu.

Then get the cheapest mobo you can buy for your CPU.

Do you recommend a specific software to emulate Wii games?

If the emulation software doesnt take the full advantage of Hyperthreading on a 2600k CPU, then buy a 2500k or 3570K.

Use Dolphin to emulate Wii and Gamecube games.
