Need help picking GPU for 1920x1080p Gaming.

I need help to find a nice GPU for the above resolution for gaming my budget is $280 or less. My system is i5 3570k, asrock extreme3 z77, evga gtx 460 (768mb) and 80 certified 600watt psu in a CM HAF 922. I usually play FPS games, MMORPG, LOL, SF4 AE, Dota 2 on my 23" monitor, now I dont know which graphic card would be good without stuttering and tearing. I was looking at xfx 7850/7870 DD because of the lifetime warranty, I dont like nvidia because of the heat, but I'm willing to look into the gtx 5/6 series if it doesnt get hot or other good 3yr+ warranty brands like Gigabyte or MSI.

If you are budgeting 280 definitely get a HD 7950 boost. here is the sapphire HD 7950 boost for 300 (280 after mail in rebate)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006

the never settle game bundle comes with 3 games. so if you don't want to play those games sell the game coupon for 50 bucks. but let me tell you the games are very good and well reviewed. i have completed sleeping dogs. fantastic game. farcry 3 and hitman absolution have been well reviewed.

Yes the 7950 Boost;

As for the Sapphire, I still have my 9800 Pro that I still use on a regular basis from them. They are a solid vendor.

I have a XFX HD 6950 2GB. the sapphire hd 7950 boost is one of the best HD 7950 cards. 925 mhz boost clock. stock voltage of 1.2 - 1.25v. easily overclocks to 1.1 - 1.15 ghz at stock voltage. temps in the low 60s under load at stock. high 60s when overclocked. very positive user reviews at newegg (85% are 5 eggs). sapphire is one of the best AMD partners.

If you want 3 yr warranty wait for the Gigabyte HD 7950 OC( 900 Mhz ) to come back in stock. it has the excellent windforce3x cooler. gigabyte is as good as sapphire.

wow i was just lookin about overclocking that graphic card too and I was caring about how much it runs on stock volt. now this 7950 boost model has 3 version from sapphire (FLex, Vapor, 2L) how come is it because of the pcb quality?
