Adding another port?

Thread Starter
I recently got a VOIP phone that uses the Ethernet port on my router/modem, here is a link to the router/modem built in one. : http://www.jr.com/motorola/pe/MOT_SBG901/

The problem is, since there is only one port on the router/modem, I can't connect my computer to it anymore. I tried using a wireless USB Adapter but the speed on it is really bad no mater where I put it, and I just like hard wire better. So my question is, how can I get one more Ethernet port without having to buy a switch? I think a switch would be overkill since I only need just one more Ethernet port for my computer. Is there a product that can get me one or more Ethernet port, without affecting speed?

EDIT: Found out a gigabit switch is my only option.

You could buy a cheap NIC, then go from your router to your computer, then from that to the VoIP phone.

Or he could buy a switch for the same price since his modem provides NAT and DHCP...
