For a non-Overcloker, 3770 or 3770K?

I love building rig or setting my rig up,

but im no overclocker ever since because i dont need it.

im getting a processor today or tom, will a standard 3770 enough of still get a 3770K?

Unless there's a huge price difference where you're shopping I'd spring for the K. Even if you don't OC, the K model will be much easier to resell down the road.

what multiplier is the maximum the 3770 can reach, and how hi can u overclock it?

im not planning to do a resell, because in case there is a new one coming i'll just transfer it to my sister's system.

If you're sure that you won't overclock then go for the 3770. But with most motherboards today, you can just push a button or click an icon and you can get a nice performance boost from a 'K' chip.

for example im currently using 2600K and never oc'd it.

but is it really worth upgrading to 3770k from 2600k? i got 2700k and it's like the same as 2600k.

if i knew some people from that intel employee program i could get a good cpu, like that 3930k... *drool*

yeah id get one too for if there would be a sale again haha.

i only watch movies and editing photos thats all, thats why i dont do overcloking hahah
