Noice! A fellow hackintosher! thumb.gif

Have you tried to hack it yet? Built my first computer back in last May, and wanted it to be a hackintosh, so I chose the components accordingly. It was pretty easy, but yours will probably be more of a challenge biggrin.gif

I went the tonymacx86 way with Unibeast. Lion 10.7.3, will probably update to 10.7.4 soon. Works like a charm!

Today is the day I install. I will be running 10.8 Mountain Lion. rampgeDev/ Ihack/Unibeast.
Also bought a Shimian monitor $280 delivered instead of the apple display -no visible dead pixels.

Everything is up and running 10.8.2 no known issues. Thanks to RampageDev for all his help.

The current build is
Rampage IV Gene
Intel 3930k
32GB 2123 Corsair Dominator Platinum
2 512 GB OCZ SSDs
1 12GB OCD SSD (System)
2 Alphacool ut60 Radiators
1 Swiftech Apogee Drive 2
Shimian Light 27" monitor

I am not happy with the fans (2 scythe 120 x 12mm) controlled by Rheosmart PCI fan controller. I am going to switch to the new Gelid blue(120 x 15mm) pwm fans as they will fit.
And then I am going to start the over clocking. I am shooting for 4.2 Ghz as I understand macs don't like anything higher than that

Awesome!

You've got a seriously nice build going on there. And the Hackintosh factor adds even more flair. thumb.gif
