new crossover 27q en route from korea

Thread Starter
Hi, i just joined overclock.net today although i have been researching these threads for info on crossover monitors for a while now.
My monitor (crossover 27q led) is en route from korea at the moment, i hope to take delivery on tuesday at the latest, i live in the uk and have been tracking the route with fedex for a couple of days now, strange route to uk, it went from seoul to china then on to germany where it is right now waiting to make the last stage to the uk (i hope).
For your info i purchased the monitor on ebay from ASTROBILE, and i must say that so far he has been great, good communication and has responded quickly to any questions that i have considering the 9 hour time difference between uk and korea.
Cant wait to get it up and running.
will update you on progress when i can.

Better to keep this content on one of the Club threads or review threads, so more people can help when you ask something.

My wife got me one for christmas, and after a bit of trouble with the power brick, a loose connection inside the monitor "presumably from FedEx rough handling, I got a pixel prefect monitor, I stated at it for 45 minutes today using different colors, I can't find a dead pixel anywhere. Nice monitor for the money, and my does it ever make you eyebals pop

Well at 1440p and the fact that it's an S-IPS panel, yes it will make your eyeballs pop especially if you're coming from a 1080p or less resolution.

I feelo ashamed looking at my TV, my wife wants to know when they are going to start making 40+ inc panels. We have a 50 in the living room and aI have a very nice older projection 65 in the basement its 1080p, I'd say that the s-ips panels actually is the first thing I have seen rival that 65 for color quality.

eyegasm, is a understatment
