How do i overclock korean monitors?

Hi everyone, I have a korean 2560x1440 korean monitor ( shimian )

and i'm trying to see if I can overclock the refresh rate.

I've read lots of things on how some monitors can do it, but I can't find a good " how-to "

is it a software or a hardware thing?

EDIT: Cool, I have it up to 67hz, 68 seems to crash it, I used the Nvidia custom resolution thing, is that all there is to it?

Which Korean monitor do you have? It depends which model you got.

If you got the 2B variant of the Yamakasi Catleap then they can be overclocked to 120Hz+. If not, then you can overclock to 65Hz or 75Hz.

Still excellent for the price you pay. $300 to $400 for a 1440p, S-IPS monitor with tilt, swivel, perspective and height adjustment is excellent. The extra overclock is a bonus.

That's actually great considering that most 1440p S-IPS monitors can't overclock like the Dell UltraSharp monitors.

Consider the overclock as a bonus.
