Not worth the added risk. Just buy a decent air cooler; Hyper 212+ or NH14.

No, I wouldn't recommend it. It will cool it, but not well. Don't expect fantastic temps and don't expect to go above 4.2ghz. Plus, for WAY cheaper than that, you can get the Hyper 212 Plus, which is way better. It'll cool 4.2ghz easily and if you ever decide to go above 4.2ghz, you can. This thing is a beast.

That's a complete ripoff. You can get much better performance with the Hyper 212 Plus... All you're doing is paying for the Corsair name. It's kinda like the Apple of PC components..
