i like those as well. they look strong like something i can throw in my bag quick if i had to and not freak out.

i think im between those or the sony ones i linked above sony MDR V6. the koss tony bennet ones look like a great price but i am not super familiar with that site/store. we dont have those here. if anyone can comment on them.

so glad i came to yall for my headphone needs though. asking other videographers would result in expensive suggestions that i might not even be happy with. most videographers like myself dont know much about headphones just what is comfortable. and most guys i have worked with have enough money to replace their headphones everytime they break which is a luxury i dont have yet in my early career biggrin.gif

thank you for the suggestions yall. after speaking with a few fellow videographers that do a lot of field work i chose to go with the Sony MDR-V6 as my first pair of field headphones for monitoring audio wheee.gif
