FX-8350 works in the CROSSHAIR IV EXTREME Bios Ver. 3027

The new Vishera (FX-8350) works just fine in the CHIVE with Beta Bios Ver. 3027. The only issue so far is that the CPU temps don't report correctly. You need to download CPUID HWMonitor to correctly check everything.

I am running WCG on this unit 24/7 with a pair of HD 6990 and 8 threads on the Vishera at 5.35GHZ and she is super stable so far. I will start to raise the clock once I have had a couple days of number crunching with no BSOD's.

What, and how are you stress testing the FX with? (Prime95, IBT etc?)

True stress test is running World Community Grid with an app-info file so I can have 8 threads on the CPU and .5 threads on each GPU. Churning out 8 results every 9 minutes. Keeps the 'Vishera' loaded 24/7. Close to 40hrs now without a freeze. I posted some jpegs of the rig in my personal album.

This has really set my mind at rest. I have a fx-8320 in the post. I have the new bios installed on my crosshair IV formula so all i can hope is i get clocks even close to yours!
