single HD7950 enough for playing at 3840x1080 ?

Hey guys how are you doing smile.gif. Well , I have my lovely HD7950 for 7 months and I'm enjoying it very much. With latest drivers 12.11 I noticed an incredible performance boost.
Ok, right now I have my card clocked at 1 Ghz core for everyday use. I'm playing with single 1080P monitor.
Performance at 1080P is pretty good, for example in BF3 with Ultra settings in MP I'm getting 60-80 fps and my lowest framerate is 45. I'm planning to get a second 1080P monitor so I'll be playing at 3840x1080 smile.gif. I wonder how my performance will decrease at that resolution..
Do you guys think my single HD7950 will be enough for playing everything at Ultra settings? Or should I need to Oc more my card or play only in high settings? It is necesary to get another HD7950 and CF them?
Thanks for your replies.

To my knowledge you can't use just 2 monitors for most gaming, and if for some reason you can, i wouldn't recommend it, minimum would be 3 monitors (I know 100% sure you can't use just 2 on Nvidia, I'm 90% sure you need 3 on AMD as well)

Actually I tried conecting my previous monitor which was 1600x900, with my Led Tv which I set the res. to 1600x900 and it worked fine. The games I tested were on 3200x900 and with no problems.

Dude you cant play on two because the middle of the screen is the edge of your monitors.

7950 is more than enough for that resolution but you wont enjoy playing on two monitors because the middle will be the bevels.

you wont be able to see your crosshair properly (for fps games)
you wont see your character (for action games like GTA)

Oh men frown.gif.. okay. I forgot about that details. Well, so I think I'll keep playing at 1080P smile.gif. And down in the road maybe I'll buy two more monitors and do eyefinity. Thanks smile.gif.

Considering that with 12.11 drivers BF3 is playable (for me) on high with a single 7970 at 5870x1080, you should be fine thumb.gif

Hey, thanks for your comment smile.gif. So my HD7950 will be fine handling three 1080P monitors , that's cool thumb.gif.

Thanks everyone for your help.
