Upgrade fail?

I had just bought some new parts for my computer. A new MoBo, Gpu Card and RAM.I updated the drivers installed java, adobe reader flash player etc. but when i play games like torchlight II and prototype my computer crashes the screen just goes dark. and when i started the computer on it reports a blue screen.

the specs:

OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

CPU: Intel dual-core e5200 2.5GHz (Old Part)

Ram: 4gb DDR3 1333Mhz (New)

Video Card: Inno3D GeForce GT 4gb 128 bit (New)

Mother board: Asus P5G41T-MLX3 (New)

I read a bit on the forums about my video card and it says that it's really weak. Could this have been the cause of it? Is there any work around to my weak video card?

I believe the problem might be your processor. You have one of the lowest processors you could buy for your chipset. Usually, games like prototype would need a Core2 Duo or something like that. You should upgrade your processor to something like a Core2 Quad or something like that.

When you upgrade your motherboard, you generally should do a fresh install of Windows, although you can get away with just installing the new drivers for your board on an existing install - however it can and occasionally does cause problems.

You really should be doing a fresh install of windows to avoid problems.

Also which Geforce do you have? Seems its on a 128 Bit bus I'm expecting something mega weak.
