Are gaming mousepads worth it?

Currently using some small rubbery cloth pad that never stays in place, and for my new Kana I want the best environment for it. So you would recommend me to get a "gaming" mouse pad? Any you can recommend $20 and under? I'm currently looking at this one, but the few people reporting tracking problems with certain mice is putting me off a bit.

Steelseries QcK+ I'm using it at the moment, and i love it. It's perfect ( for me at least ), light, but doesn't move around at all, and can wrap up easily to be transported etc. Would recommend it to anyone.

Steelseries makes it, so that mousepad should probably work. Honestly, I would recommend a good mousing environment, but make sure to get one that suits your needs. I play at low sensitivity so I went with a steelseries qck+ pad because cloth is great for low sens players and I need a large mousing environment. If you want the 4hd, then go for it. However, I might want to add that mousepads are all relatively similar technologically and paying for a super expensive hard pad is probably going to give you the same experience as a cheaper hardpad such as the razer hardpads, the rocketfish hardpad or any of the other similar hard pads on the market.

Razer hardpads are some of the more expensive on the market lol.

Meh, I was assuming that the razer hardpads were between 20-30 (which you can get some of them from I'm pretty sure) but I guess I was mistaken. There really isn't a giant quality difference between any of the hard mousepads under 50 bucks imo.

Anyways, glad to hear you got the qck+, it's a really nice pad!

Some ESR users will call just about any mouse that isn't a WMO bad.
I wouldn't say Kana has flaws per se, it's just that the pixart sensor is not for everyone.

@topic author, good choice, the qck won't disappoint you
